Creating a Shipment

Shipment

A Shipment can be created for any Customer and any Product that has inventory in stock. Creating a Shipment will automatically deduct the Product stock from inventory.

Creating A Shipment

To create a Shipment, first navigate to Shipments on the left hand menu and click on "New Shipment". Below is a description of the fields on the form.

Customer - Select a Customer that you'd like to make the Shipment too.

Shipping Address Line 1 - If your Customer profile contains an existing Shipping Address this will automatically populate. You can make adjustments as needed.

Shipping Address Line 2 - If your Customer profile contains an existing Shipping Address this will automatically populate. You can make adjustments as needed.

Shipping City - If your Customer profile contains an existing Shipping Address this will automatically populate. You can make adjustments as needed.

Shipping State - If your Customer profile contains an existing Shipping Address this will automatically populate. You can make adjustments as needed.

Shipping Zip - If your Customer profile contains an existing Shipping Address this will automatically populate. You can make adjustments as needed.

Origin - Enter an entity that you'd like to show on the Delivery Slip.

Consignee Name - Enter a Consignee that you'd like to receive the Shipment on the Delivery Slip.

Order Number - If your customer has a specific Order Number, you can add it here to show on the Delivery Slip.

Reference Number - If there is a specific reference number that your customer would like to have, you can add it here to show on the Delivery Slip.

Shipping Method - Select from a default Shipping Method or create your own custom shipping method by typing directly in the field.

Shipment Date - Select a date that you'd like to show on the delivery slip as Date Shipped.

Editing Shipment

You can edit a shipment by first clicking into the shipment and then clicking (•••) > Edit Shipment.

When editing a shipment you can update any of the information.

Need to remove a Shipment? You can archive a shipment by first locating the Shipment on the Shipment List and then clicking on (•••) > Archive Shipment.

Note: When you archive a Shipment, the quantities noted as shipped for Products will be reversed.
