Tasks

A Task is a machine run or manual work that is performed and tracked by an Operator. Tasks are scheduled at pre-determined times on the Production Schedule to be logged by the Operator at their station.

Scheduling a Task

To schedule a task, first navigate to the Job Ticket and click on Tasks > Schedule a Task

  1. You'll be redirected to the production schedule for the current day/time and the Job Ticket is shown on the right hand side panel.
  2. Click on the (::) icon location on the Job Ticket right hand panel and drag it to the the day/ time that you'd like to schedule it for production.
  3. Before the Task is scheduled, a Create Task form displays that will allow you to confirm the information before scheduling.

Machine - This field will automatically be associated to the machine that the job was dragged to on the production schedule.

Machine Run Step - If your Job workflow contains more than one of the same machine run, then you will be prompted to select the step you want to Task to be associated to.

Run Date and Time - This field will automatically populate based on where the Task was scheduled. You're able to manually override this by clicking on the scheduled tasks and expanding it or dragging it to another day/time.

Notes For Operator - Add any note here that you'd like the operator to know before they start the Task.

Product(s) on Task - By default, all Product(s) on the Job Ticket will show here, if you'd only like the operator to work on a specific Product(s) for this Task, ensure to remove the ones that you do not want the operator to work on.

Editing a Task

Making adjustments to the Task schedule day/time or duration

  1. First we'll locate the task by finding and clicking the Job Ticket > Tasks
  2. Locate the task that you'd like to adjust, click on the (•••) icon and then View On Schedule
  3. You'll be navigated to the Task on the Production Schedule.
  4. If the task is in a "scheduled" (grey) status, you can click on the Task to move it around or expand the duration.

Make adjustments to the Task Operator Notes or Product(s)

  1. First we'll locate the task by finding and clicking the Job Ticket > Tasks
  2. Locate the task that you'd like to adjust, click on the (•••) icon and then Edit
  3. The Task edit form will display
  4. Make the changes to the task that you'd like and then click on Update to apply the changes.

Need to delete a Task? You can Task from a Job Ticket by first locating the task on the Job Ticket and then clicking on (•••) > Delete Task.

Note: Deleting a task that is in a status of "in progress", "paused", or "complete" will affect your Overall Equipment Efficiency rating.
